Where are we now?
Hopefully, I've convinced you to try trusting your camera and shown
you a few simple tools to make the most of your photographs.
The 10 Photoshop tools
we've needed to get this far are:
- Marquee (A standard Windows tool for selecting area)
- Crop
- Rotate
- Auto Levels (and fading them)
- Auto Colour
- Brightness/Contrast
- Shadow/highlight
- Hue/Saturation
- Clone Stamp
- Unsharp Mask
The good news is that all
those tools will work on photographs you've taken with a phone too.
The bad news is we're
done with 'easy'. Next, I'm going to show you some of the things you
can do, but which require rather more effort to learn. My hope is
that the examples I've picked will inspire you to actually want to
learn the more advanced stuff.
